Colorado State University has unveiled a crisp new jersey that they will rock against Boise State University on November 11th. The uniform will honour the state’s flag, and feature the school’s name above the chest numbers.

The jersey was designed as part of the university’s partnership with Under Armour. The Rams, whose natural colours are green and gold, will wear a white helmet for the first time in school history.

If you’re a hockey fan, then these shirts should look awfully familiar. Way back when, the state’s Colorado Rockies (yes, they existed in hockey too), wore very similar uniforms. The team was situated in Denver from 1976-82 before relocating to New Jersey and becoming the Devils.

It’s nice to see a team represent their state colours, as that’s not necessarily the case for a lot of sports teams. The program is 2-2 so far in 2017, and are hoping the new digs will give them an extra boost of confidence against the 2-2 Broncos come Remembrance Day.

Where does this one rank in comparison to other NCAA jerseys?
