During last season’s Stanley Cup playoffs, Sudbury native Jason Maslakow transformed into the viral sensation known as Dart Guy, and became a revelation in Leafs Nation.

Maslakow, who goes by @LeafsMaz20 on Twitter, was turned into a meme and was featured on t-shirts, pins, and was even fictitiously raised to the rafters at the ACC.  On top of the countless interviews he did , the Leafs super fan became a fixture in the city during the first round against the Washington Capitals, and even resonated with Leafs players Tyler Bozak and Zach Hyman.

Dart Guy has now parlayed his internet fame into a charitable cause, and is raising money for the upcoming Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer tournament, with proceeds going to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. If you donate to Dart Guy’s team, you’ll be entered to win this 3D bust model of himself, equipped with his signature dart, his blue mohawk and the words “Go Leafs Go” painted around the back of his head.

Back in May, Maskalow announced that he was quitting smoking, and received support from Maple Leafs president Brendan Shanahan.

If you have a few extra dollars to donate, help Jason – who might just be “Smart Guy” (as coined by Shanahan) now that he quit smoking  – reach his goal of $10,000. We all know someone who’s been effected by cancer in our lifetime, and you could win one of the coolest sculptures any Leafs fan would love to have in their memorabilia collection.
