The New Orleans Pelicans boast one of the strongest front courts in the NBA with Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.

Davis and Cousins are relying on each other to transform the Pelicans into a contender in the NBA’s Western Conference. Developing trust and believing in every single guy on a team is one of the key ingredients in organizational success that separates good teams from great teams. Having faith in your teammates is generally developed out on the court. However, building up companionship away from the game carries a ton of weight too. If you can bond away from the spotlight, then it’ll be easier to communicate when the stakes are high. That was all put to the test last week, as the team went on a haunted house tour in Louisiana.

Davis entrusted Cousins as his personal body guard to avoid any face-to-face confrontations with any spooky zombies or creatures.  They’re usually the ones scaring their opponents away with their brute force, but it looks like they finally met their match.

The two have averaged 57.7 points and 26.8 rebounds per game. If you get them out of their comfort zone away from hardwood, the two giants turn into terrified little boys. NBA coaches, all you need it a little spookiness, and you’re good to go.
