There are moments that remind us there are so many things bigger than sports, and one of those moments occurred before the Warriors and Mavericks game on Monday night in Dallas.

Last Thursday, Mavs guard Devin Harris' brother Bruce died in a car crash in Dallas.  Devin was at the game Monday night, but did not play.

Harris' nephew was at the game, too, and before tipoff, Stephen Curry shared a heartwarming moment with him after his dad's death.

In times of tragedy, sports can be that light that so many people need, and as much pain as Harris' nephew is in right now, we can only imagine it had to have helped a little to share that moment with Curry.

In tough times, players have shown that the sports world is a community and brotherhood and this moment only reinforces that beautiful and powerful fact.
