On Tuesday night, the New York Rangers took down the  Montreal Canadiens 2-1 to even the series at two games a piece. The Rangers won the game, but did the Canadiens have six men on the ice when Torrey Mitchell scored? Better yet, did the Rangers also have six men on the ice when the Canadiens scored?

According to this screenshot from the NBC broadcast, both teams indeed had six men on the ice when the Habs scored.

We don't know if it went totally unnoticed, or if it was understood both teams had six men and would be offsetting, but there was no penalty called on the play.
