The NL-leading Los Angeles Dodgers opened up a four-game series with the Phillies in Philadelphia on Monday night and it didn’t take them very long to get on the board.

On the second pitch of the first at-bat of the game, Dodgers outfielder Chris Taylor smoked a pitch right off the top of the wall in right-centre field and he didn’t stop until he rounded all the bases.

Taylor continues to add to his career-season as the inside-the-park home run was his 20th HR of the season.

It didn’t get any better for the Phillies after that as third baseman Justin Turner added to the Dodgers’ lead with his 21st home run of the season.

Hopefully all the traveling Dodgers fans were in their seat by the start of the game or they missed out on one of the best starts of the season.
