Considering it was the team’s first World Series title in the franchise’s existence, you can bet nearly all of Houston showed up to the team’s World Series parade a few days after they captured the title.

While it was a massive victory for the Astros and the city of Houston, it was a heartbreaking loss for the Dodgers and the city of Los Angeles after the team finished with an MLB-best 104 regular season wins and were on the verge of capturing their first title since 1988.

As upsetting as it was for the Dodgers, everyone within the organization held their heads high and congratulated the Astros by taking out a full page ad in this past Sunday’s edition of the Houston Chronicle.

The Dodgers also congratulated the Astros on Twitter minutes after Houston captured its first World Series title.

Both were very classy moves by the Dodgers organization.
