Before the start of Game 3 fans across the country were wondering if a certain Canadian superstar musician would show up. In the end, two did.
Friday, Drake and legendary frontman of the Tragically Hip, Gord Downie, shared a special moment with one another during halftime. As Downie made his way to Drake, the hip-hop artist bowed respectfully before the two embraced for a quick hug.
Two immense Canadian talents, both wearing incredibly Canadian outfits. And by that of course we mean Canadian Tuxedos. Let's all hope that both of them help the Raptors maintain their halftime lead over the Cavs!
The Raptors took a moment to acknowledge the Canadian rock legend, putting Downie on the jumbotron which was followed by a standing ovation from teh crowd at the ACC.
