If the NHL season ended today, the Calgary Flames would face the Anaheim Ducks and to win the series they would need to break a 13-year streak.

The Flames have a had a great deal of difficulty in Anaheim over the years, as they have lost 25 straight games in the Honda Center, dating back to February 1, 2004. In fact, it got so bad that they were recently a part of a series of team roasts using only Atlanta Thrashers stats.

The Ducks’ fans appear to be hyper aware of their teams’ winning streaks as they formed their chants around it.

We’re not sure if this was encouraged by the team themselves, but it’s a pretty epic troll from the Ducks fans.

Things got really feisty last night, which explains the fans’ passion. The penalty boxes were packed on both ends and Kevin Bieksa even waved goodbye to the Flames as they were leaving the ice.
