The Calgary Flames have a different goaltending duo heading into the 2017-18 NHL season and both goalies have already gone above and beyond to make sure they look sharp between the pipes for their new team next year.

On Thursday, photos of Mike Smith in his new Flames-themed equipment appeared online after he made an appearance in his new gear at a hockey camp in Watson Lake, Yukon.

On Friday, Eddie Lack shared a photo of his new equipment on his accounts and he went with a design that many Flames fans are going to love.

Any Flames fan over the age of 18 most likely remembers that style from Trevor Kidd’s pads, which he rocked during his time with the Flames during the 1990’s, and that’s exactly what Lack was going for with his new pads.
