While the talk around most of the world for the days to come will be about New England's epic comeback to win the Super Bowl, the talk in Atlanta will be about the Falcons' collapse.

Matt Ryan and his team had a 28-3 second half lead at one point, only to watch it evaporate right before their very eyes.

Sure, many were quick to call New England's comeback the greatest of all-time, but Atlanta's collapse might have also been the greatest of all-time, too.

Of course, we don't need to tell Falcons fans this as they are probably still feeling very miserable after watching a championship get taken right out of their hands.

The game was over, the papers were written up, and then the narrative changed in an instant.  To make matters worse for Atlanta fans, this video of a store taking Falcons 'Super Bowl champions' gear off of their shelves after the game will only add more salt to the wound.

Don't worry Falcons fans, it's ok to cry.  Let it all out.

The collapse is one that both fans and the Atlanta players won't be getting over any time soon, we imagine, but there are some positives.

For starters, Matt Ryan played incredible on the biggest stage in sports, and he and Julio Jones will be leading the Falcons for a long time.

Add in the fact the defence can only get better from the loss and it's easy to see why the future is so bright for the Falcons.
