Just when you thought that the NBA offseason couldn't get any crazier, yet another blockbuster deal takes place, once again sending basketball fans into a frenzy. Once the news of Kyrie Irving requesting a trade broke out it was only a matter of time until the point guard was shipped out of Cleveland. Tuesday, that finally happened, with the unlikeliest of trade partners: the Boston Celtics.

Although the Celtics definitely had all of the pieces to make a deal for Irving work, most analysts didn't believe it would happen due to two reasons. Why would the two top contenders in the Eastern Conference trade with one another and why would the Celtics even think of getting rid of fan-favourite Isaiah Thomas after the year he had? Clearly Celtics GM Danny Ainge wasn't worried about either of those things, as on Tuesday evening Boston did just that, effectively swapping Thomas for Irving.

Once the dust settles and the shock is dealt with, the over analyzing begins. Part of that over analyzing includes fans combing through old tweets, trying to find any examples of players criticizing their new teammates. Turns out I.T. had quite a few things to say about LeBron James back in 2010.

As with most candid tweets from professional athletes, these came from before Thomas was actually in the league. At the time of his Kobe-LeBron comparison Thomas was still attending Washington University. Since then I.T. has shown nothing but respect for James, going as far as to call his new teammate "the greatest ever" back in May.

Something tells us that these tweets aren't going to mean a single thing to either I.T. or LeBron. Still a little funny to read, though.
