Sunday, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was spotted at the Predators-Blues playoff game in Nashville and raised a few eyebrows due to his choice of wardrobe. Prescott was present at the Bridgestone Arena sporting a Predators jersey, much to the confusion of people watching at home. Especially after he gave a shout out to the Stars once he had been spotted at the game.

Here are the facts. Dak Prescott was born in Louisiana, attended college at Mississippi State and is currently the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Going off of that info alone, one would presume that the team Prescott would choose to support is the Dallas Stars, as both Louisiana and Mississippi both do not have an NHL team.

Of course, there are fans from every market that do not feel bound by geography when they select the team they wish to support. Just ask all those Penguins and Blackhawks fans you see outside of those respective cities. Still, it does make you wonder why Prescott chose the Preds. The folks over FTW USA Today did a little digging on Twitter and found a tweet shared by Prescott back in 2011 that said the quarterback attended a team trip to a Preds game. Perhaps that's why?

After the Preds 3-1 win in Game 3, Prescott had a meet and greet with P.K. Subban, posing in a photo with the defenceman.

Well, who knows why Prescott supports the Preds, but in the end, it doesn't really matter why someone chooses to support a team. Not to mention, if Prescott's presence leads to Preds victories, we're sure fans in Nashville won't mind one bit. Not so sure about fans in Dallas, though...
