Video games, like sports, aren't perfect nor will they ever be, and that's what makes them great.
There's always room for improvement and contrary to popular belief, that's a great thing because the greatest minds working on sports video games get the chance to bring something new and exciting to their games each and every year.
In every sports video game, though, there are always fun glitches that catch players by surprise.
One of our favourites in NHL 17 is this glitch that really needs no explanation, that's how random and crazy it is.
The goalie stacked the pads, tried to roll over and ended up sending the opposing player flying into the stands. It's easily one of the best glitches we've ever seen.
That said, even though it's Flashback Friday, we want to look ahead today, too, and we couldn't be more excited about what NHL 18 has to offer based on the gameplay features trailer.
