While all eyes were on Matthew Tkachuk and Drew Doughty Wednesday night as the Flames and Kings squared off, former Flame Jarome Iginla stole the show.

Iggy recorded a 'Gordie Howe Hat Trick' as the Kings kept their playoff hopes alive with a 4-1 win.

For his performance, Iginla was named the 1st Star of the game, and the Calgary fans applauded for their former captain.

Lost in the moment was the fact that Iginla may have played his final game in Calgary.

The 39-year-old will be 40 by the time the start of next season rolls around, and the reason the Avalanche traded him ahead of the deadline was to give him another shot at winning the Stanley Cup.

Despite his age, though, Iginla is still contributing and we wouldn't be surprised if he's back next year (keep in mind he hasn't made a decision on his future yet).

If anyone deserves a retirement tour, it's Iginla.
