The battle of Alberta is always entertaining in any sport, and this weekend the stakes couldn't be higher as the Stampeders and Eskimos add another chapter to their rivalry in the Western Final.

The winner advances to the Grey Cup and at least one of these two teams have been in the big game in each of the last three years.

Obviously fans in both Calgary and Edmonton get a little more excited for a Battle of Alberta, so it's no surprise both teams have the support of athletes in their city, too.

On Tuesday, the Flames showed their support for the Stampeders by playing a little football on the ice.

We can only imagine how difficult it is playing football on skates, but the Flames did a pretty decent job, and the outtakes were wonderful, too.

The Stamps clearly have the Flames behind them, though, so now it's the Oilers turn to step up and either outdo their provincial rivals or a fail trying their best to do so.
