Marc-Andre Fleury had a tough year as Matt Murray took over the starting role when he was healthy during the regular season.

Through it all, though, Fleury was an incredible teammate and he was his same upbeat and fun self.

Ahead of Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Murray got hurt and Fleury was thrust into the spotlight once again.  He hasn't disappointed to say the least as his play is a big reason why the Penguins are up 2-1 in their series against the Capitals.

Unfortunately for Fleury and the Pens, they may have to continue on their quest for the Cup without their captain, Sidney Crosby, for the next little while as he suffered a concussion in Game 3 from a Matt Niskanen hit.

Niskanen used to be teammates with Fleury and Crosby when he was with the Penguins, and he even earned a place on Fleury's mask that honours his favourite teammates (past and present) ever.

Niskanen's name wasn't originally on the mask, but Fleury added it on in what looks like marker.

Ahead of Game 4, however, Fleury covered Niskanen's name with tape, which clearly shows how he feels about the hit he delivered to Crosby.

Message sent.  Despite being a great teammate during his time as a Penguin, things have changed and Fleury has clearly let the hockey world know that.
