Nobody could have predicted how the Vegas Golden Knights would do in their inaugural season in the NHL.

The easy thing to say at the beginning of the season was that they would struggle like the majority of previous expansion franchises did in their first season, but so far, the Golden Knights are proving everyone wrong.

The Golden Knights are winning on the ice (2nd in the Pacific entering play Tuesday night) and off the ice in more ways than one.

Yes, we know their social media accounts are incredible, but from a business standpoint, Vegas is thriving, as per Forbes.

Forbes just released their annual 'NHL's Most Valuable Teams List' and the Golden Knights are just above the middle of the pack at No. 14, ahead of franchises like the Sharks, Ducks, Blues, Flames, Senators, Lightning, Predators, and Jets.

As for the top ten, three Canadian Clubs made the cut, but none of them came in ahead of the Rangers who own the top spot on the list.

This is the third-straight year that the Rangers have taken the top spot on the list and compared to last year, team values are up 15%, the biggest increase in three years, so things are heading in the right direction for a lot of teams, not just the Rangers.
