The "ping" sound that's made when a puck goes off the post or crossbar is either music to a player's ears or their worst nightmare.

Obviously if the puck goes post and in or BarDown, all is good, but if that puck bounces out, it's easy to get frustrated.

With that in mind, we're surprised Kaspars Daugavins didn't lose it after what happened to his shot during a KHL game.

Not only was the shot deflected on its way to the net, but it then went off the post, off the crossbar, off the other post and somehow stayed out.  You've got to see it to believe it.

For all of you math majors out there, what are the odds of that happening, because we have no idea.

We doubt that play will put a dent in Daugavins' confidence, though, as the former Senator has 28 points in 44 games this season, but still, that was unlucky to say the least.
