The Jacksonville Jaguars were really happy to grab running back Leonard Fournette with the fourth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Hoping to have found their first legit starting running back since the Maurice Jones-Drew days, the Jags are looking for Fournette to carry over his high school and college success to the NFL level.

The Jags have been going all in to promote their new running back and are slowly turning him into the face of the franchise. This summer, the 22-year-old New Orleans, Louisiana native has been doing a really good job making a positive name for himself around his new city and he kept that trend going with his recent donation to a local Jacksonville high school.

As part of a collaboration with MET-Rx, a nutrition company dedicated to preparing athletes to dominate on the next level, Fournette donated all of his trophies he’s collected over his lifetime and turned them into trophies for William M. Raines High School in Jacksonville. However, Fournette has won his fair share of trophies over his lifetime and ended up donating 700 trophies to the initiative.

It’s really awesome to see Fournette already giving back to his new hometown, even though he hasn’t actually played a single snap in the NFL yet. After he signed his first contract with the Jags, Fournette went out and bought his mother a brand new Mercedes-Benz.

Fournette has already been making the most of his young NFL career and it’s only going to be a matter of time until he turns into a fan favourite across the league.
