Not everyone can say they enjoy having one of their parents coach their team, but when your dad is LeBron James you kind of just go with the flow and do whatever he says.

This past weekend, LeBron James put his coaching skills to the test as he stepped behind the bench of his oldest son’s AAU team at the Adidas Uprising event in Las Vegas and he did not take his temporary gig lightly.

From celebrating with the players to adjusting the scores for officials, James did just about everything a coach would do and he was very animated throughout the entire game.

Unfortunately for LeBron James, his son’s team came out on the losing end of things to hand James Sr. an L in his coaching debut.

As much as James Sr. got into it throughout the game, he remembered time and time again that he was there for his son and not for himself, unlike LaVar Ball who makes everything and anything about himself.

It would be pretty cool that these kids get to play alongside LeBron James Jr., but it’s even cooler that they got to play for LeBron James Sr.

After all, just about everyone would love the opportunity to get to be on the same court as The King.
