Cup finals are special occasions, so why not deliver the game ball in dramatic, outlandish fashion?

Sunday, before things kicked off between Benfica and Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese Cup Final at the Estádio Nacional, the official game ball was delivered to the match referee in grand style, via a man on a drone.

After the Green Goblin-like aircraft touched down onto the field, Benfica went on to claim their 26th Portuguese Cup, defeating Guimaraes 2-1. No word yet on whether or not that was actually Norman Osborn (maybe, Harry?) flying the drone, but it seems pretty likely that it was.

Wouldn't mind seeing one of these appear at the Stanley Cup Final. Fun fact, a Canadian by the name of Catalin Alexandru Duru broke the record for farthest flight by a hoverboard back in 2015.
