Craig Sager's passing on Thursday hit the sports world, but more specifically the basketball world very hard.
Sager was close with so many players and coaches over the course of his incredible career, but there was one relationship in particular that may have stood out above the others.
We all know Gregg Popovich doesn't like doing interviews during games, but it was always different when he was being interviewed by Sager. The two shared some very funny and special moments on the court together to say the least.
Ahead of San Antonio's game against the Suns, Popovich shared some beautiful words about his friend and it looked as though he was so emotional and shaken up that he had to step away after talking about Sager.
The sports world lost a legend, but his legacy will always live on, as long as we're all Sager Strong.
