Interesting is one word we could use to describe the Montreal Canadiens franchise and the moves they've made over the last year.

It started last summer when the team dealt P.K. Subban to the Predators for Shea Weber.  Fans weren't happy with the move and understandably so, but Weber and company made the playoffs.

Montreal's postseason run was short-lived, tough, as they were eliminated in the first round by the Rangers.

This offseason, the team made a move fans loved as they traded for Jonathan Drouin, and although they gave up quite a bit to get him, there's a lot of excitement surrounding him.

The Habs did make a decision, however, that upset fans and it had nothing to do with the players.  Instead, it had to do with season tickets.

As per the Montreal Gazette, Habs fans got an email from the team informing them that tickets for the upcoming season would only be available in mobile format.  Season-ticket holders will now get their tickets electronically and they can be scanned on their phones at the Bell Centre to get in.

There's still a way to get printed tickets, though, but it's going to cost fans.

So, if you're a fan Montreal fan and have two season tickets, you'll have to pay over $300 (thanks to taxes) to have them printed.

This may not seem like a big deal to some, but to those fans that enjoy keeping ticket stubs or don't have a smartphone, it's a pretty big deal.

Ever since the news broke, some Habs fans have taken to social media to voice their frustrations.
