Equipment malfunctions, as rare as they are in sports, are always quite funny on the rare occasions they do happen.

The main one in hockey that is hilarious for everyone watching, but awful for the person it happens to is when a player's skate blade falls off while they're on the ice.

For the fans watching, it's quite funny to see the player struggle as he or she tries to get off the ice or get up only to fall right back down.  For the player, though, a feeling of panic probably hits them as they attempt to get off the ice.

Jaime Sifers of the Cleveland Monsters probably knows what we're talking about as he lost a skate blade during a game against Charlotte Tuesday night, and it took a great amount of effort, and some help from his teammates for him to get to the bench.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork.

Teamwork also helped the defending Calder Cup champs beat the Checkers 4-2 to improve to 14-11-1-2 on the season, a record that has the team currently tied for third in the Central Division.
