Dale Earnhardt Jr. followed in the footsteps of his father, Dale Sr., when he decided to become a NASCAR driver. His father was a legend in the sport before he tragically passed away in a crash at the Daytona 500 in February of 2001.

Dale Jr. would go on to become a fan favourite in the sport, winning the Sprint Cup Series Most Popular Driver award 14 times over his career, and he always seemed to be challenging for wins and titles. He never actually won the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship.

2017 would mark the final season for one of the most recognizable names in NASCAR history. In dedication to Dale Jr's remarkable and inspiring legacy, long-time sponsor Budweiser produced a short video bidding farewell to the driver.

If that didn't leave you with goosebumps, not much will. Pass the tissues, please.
