As we’re sure CFL fan are well aware, before Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was NFL agent Spencer Strasmore from HBO’s Ballers, former agent of the Diplomatic Security Service Luke Hobbs from The Fast and the Furious franchise, or even WWE’s The People’s Champion The Rock, he was a member of the Calgary Stampeders practice roster.

Of course, Johnson was eventually cut from the Stampeders, but learned many valuable lessons from the coaching staff while with the team. And the coach of the Stamps in those days just happened to be current general manager, VP of football operations, and head coach of the B.C. Lions Wally Buono.

The Rock and Buono have stayed in touch after all these years, and Johnson even refers to coach as Uncle Wally.

When Buono recently got word Johnson would be in Vancouver filming the movie Skyscraper, he thought he would reach out and invite the Brahma Bull to a Lions game.

While we have yet to hear if The Rock will accept Buono’s invite, the CFL is doing its part as well.

We hope the millions… AND MILLIONS of The Rocks fans RT the following tweet to get Rocky in the seats for a game at B.C. Place.
