Isaiah Thomas and the Boston Celtics had a good run this season, and they have a great deal of assets moving forward.

With all the draft picks they’ve acquired over the past couple of years, they’ve accumulated a lot of draft picks. Still, that’s not enough for Isaiah Thomas. He’s hoping to add to his roster in free agency this year, and he’s noticed an opportunity now that Lob City has been officially broken up.

Chris Paul was traded to the Houston Rockets today and that likely means Blake Griffin won’t be returning to the Clippers. Because of that, people have been posting about how fun it’s been to watch the team in the past couple of years. Isaiah Thomas agrees, but also thinks it’s time for a new chapter in Griffin’s career.

Much respect to these three. Hell of a run. #LobCity

Bold move from Isaiah Thomas, but let’s see if it pays off.

Even with the combination of Thomas, Griffin and Al Horford, we’re not sure this Celtics team, or any team in the East for that matter, will be able to compete with the Cavs and Warriors. Although, we suppose we’ll have to see what their roster looks like next year to say anything for sure.
