Houston Texans' defensive end J.J. Watt is one of the biggest stars in today's NFL, but that doesn't mean he's forgotten the people who helped him achieve his goals along the way.

On Monday, Watt showed up to his old elementary school with a cake and presents to surprise his fourth grade teacher, who announced she was retiring after 41 years.

Watt brings a custom cake, has a gift of his signature shoes, and invites her to his celebrity softball game in Houston.

If Mrs. Keefe's students didn't believe her when she said, "Do your homework and someday you can play in the NFL," they might believe her now.

Watt giving back to a teacher who helped inspire him early in life is amazing. We would love to see more athletes take video of experiences like this so we can live these great moments with them.
