Boston Red Sox centrefielder Jackie Bradley Jr. got off to a slow start with the Red Sox when they called him up during the 2013 season, but over the past couple of years he has shown everyone why he was a first round draft pick in the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft.

Bradley has shown over the past couple of years that he can get the job done with the bat, and on Wednesday night he reminded baseball fans that he can get it done with his arm as well.

With Matt Carpenter on third for the St. Louis Cardinals, outfielder Tommy Pham hit a one-hop single into centre expecting to bring Carpenter home, but Bradley had other plans.

Now players will think twice about trying to run on Jackie Bradley Jr.
