Pittsburgh Penguins' Phil Kessel is a somewhat polarizing figure in the hockey community. Most fans love Kessel. He is a bit of an oddball character at times, but Kessel seems like a genuine and down-to-earth guy. And we know he is an absolutely electrifying hockey player.

Nashville Predators' James Neal used to play for the Penguins from 2011 until 2014, and is therefore very familiar with their players, although he never played with Kessel. When Kessel posted a photo to Instagram on Monday night with the caption "Last supper...?", Neal decided to go all in to roast the Penguins' forward.

As a side note to the Neal chirp, Kessel is a pretty fantastic troll. There's no way Kessel doesn't fully realize the stir he's going to cause by making the comment he did, and Neal knew it and decided to go after Phil himself.

Now we sit by the phone and wait for a Kessel response... get 'em good, Phil!

We really hope it's all in good fun, because Kessel's the best.
