Jaromir Jagr has done it again.

In a career full of milestones, the 45-year-old added another one to the list during Calgary’s 4-3 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Wild. The game marked Jagr’s 1,924th game played, tying him with Gordie Howe for second on the all-time list. The number includes most regular season and playoff contests.

The game didn’t exactly go as planned, as the Czech native was forced to leave with a lower-body injury. Through five games played, Jagr has accumulated two assists and was playing on a line with Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan before getting hurt.

Jagr is just 52 games away from surpassing Howe for the most regular season games ever played. The severity of his injury has not yet been released, but it seems very realistic that he’ll catch up if he can make a return to the lineup in the near future. The King of the Mullet currently sits second in points behind Wayne Gretzky (2,857) with 1,916 points, and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

The Flames just added a little more mullet to their team. 🔥🔥

The game already didn’t feel the same when Jagr was team-less to begin the season, so hopefully hockey fans will see him on the ice in the near future.
