Jerry West has been the ‘face’ of the NBA for more than 40 years and now he thinks it’s time for a change.

Whether you know who Jerry West is or not, his silhouettes has served as the league’s logo since the 1970’s and now he wants someone else to take over that role.

The 14-time NBA All-Star recently joined ESPN’s The Jump, where he stated he’d like to see someone else become the logo because it calls too much attention to him.

While most people would love to be the logo for the league they love, clearly West isn’t a big fan of being the ‘face’ of the NBA.

Not everyone loves all the attention, so we understand where West is coming from. However, we can’t agree with his idea of putting Adam Silver on the logo instead.

Who do you think should be the face of the NBA if the league changed the logo?
