CM Punk's UFC debut was memorable for all the wrong reasons, when he lost in decisive fashion to Mickey Gall. Well, the former WWE superstar wants to pursue another fight in the UFC, and it's once again generating a lot of discussion from both fans and experts alike.
Joe Rogan and Dominick Cruz were on a podcast back in February, and had an open chat about what they would tell CM Punk to do if they were his friend. Rogan gets real with Cruz at one point, calling Punk delusional in what he wants to accomplish, but Cruz comes back with a good explanation of why things are the way they are in UFC.
Fans of entertainment are interested in watching CM Punk because the man is a showman, and knows how to sell a fight. He may not be the greatest fighter around, proven well by Mickey Gall at UFC 203, but that doesn't mean he doesn't move the needle.
CM Punk isn't going to shake a competitors hand before a match... and that's why we love to watch CM Punk. He's got personality.
