The Boston Celtics hosted the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night and the game had an old school feel to it in terms of how physical it was from beginning to end. The two teams went back and forth all night long, until the Celtics eventually jumped out to a lead late in the fourth quarter and went on to win 117-108.

As players from each side congratulated one another after the game, it didn’t exactly go that way for John Wall and Jae Crowder. The two walked towards each other and got very close as they exchanged a few choice words for one another. Crowder then responded to Wall’s comments by putting his finger on his nose, and that’s when Wall let his emotions get the best of him.

Must See: Wall, Crowder involved in altercation postgame

You can’t blame Wall for getting as angry as he did since his team just lost and he had another person put their finger not only in his face, but on his face. Turns out it didn’t end on the court, as police officers were called in to watch over the two teams until they left the building.

John Wall had this to say to ESPN’s Chris Forsberg after the altercation.

"Just some altercation. We knew there was going to be some trash-talking," Wall said. "We knew it was going to be a physical game. That's all it was: Just a little trash-talking and a physical game."

It's highly unlikely either player receives anything more than a fine for this postgame altercation.
