The Calgary Flames are red hot (ha ha) right now, and if the season ended today, they would actually be in the playoffs.

The incredible turnaround from the beginning of the season is pretty astounding, especially when you consider the Flames withstood an injury to their best forward, Johnny Gaudreau.

Despite the injury, the Flames are 8-1-1 in their last 10, they've won six games in a row and all four games "Johnny Hockey" has played in since coming back from injury.

In those 4 games, Gaudreau has recorded 8 points, so it's safe to say his slow start to the season is a thing of the past. Although the Flames don't play Monday night, Johnny's hot streak continued as he successfully trademarked his nickname.

Now that Gaudreau has his nickname trademarked, he can put it on a lot of articles of clothing, from underwear to skirts.

Flames fans are just hoping Gaudreau keeps it together unlike the other "Johnny" that filed for his nickname to be trademarked back in 2014 and was also successful in doing so.
