For the entirety of their NHL careers, Jordie and Jamie Benn had been on the same team, up until this season, that is.
Ahead of the trade deadline, Montreal traded for Jordie to bolster their defence.
Jordie's been a nice addition to the Canadiens lineup and thanks to the trade, he has a chance to play playoff hockey.
Jamie, on the other hand, is just trying to make the most of the rest of the season as the Stars are out of playoff contention.
Luckily for him, he gets to face his brother for the first time in the NHL Tuesday night, and Jordie commented on the matchup in a funny way:
Come now, Jordie, you can take him, we believe in you!
Regardless of if they are on the ice a lot against each other or not once in the game, it will be fun to watch the Benn brothers go at it.
You can tell that the two are very close, which should make the game all the more special.
