J.T. Brown signed with the Tampa Bay Lightning as an undrafted free agent back in 2012 and it's worked out pretty well for both sides.

Brown only played five games in his first year with the Lightning and spent the next season and a half in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch, but the 27-year-old has worked his way up to become a regular on the team's NHL roster.

This past summer, Brown and his wife, Lexi, welcomed their first child, Lily.

Now that the Burnsville, Minnesota native has a new member in his cheering section, you can bet he has a new pre-game routine for the upcoming season.

Brown's daughter Lily is taking in her first NHL game on Tuesday night as the Tampa Bay Lightning host the Carolina Hurricanes in their first preseason game of the year.
