Although the Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames have already clinched playoff berths, there was still something big on the line last night in California.

The Flames were trying to beat the Ducks in a regular season game in Anaheim for the first time in 13 years, but they couldn't get the job done as they lost 3-1.

Somehow, though, that wasn't the biggest talking point after the game.  No, what everyone was talking about was the penalty filled third period between the two teams which culminated in a lot of penalty minutes and bodies in the box.

Kevin Bieksa, who surprisingly didn't take a penalty in the Ducks' win, did make sure he sent a message to the Flames in a different way once the game was over, though.

The rough stuff came after Mark Giordano's hit on Cam Fowler forced him to leave the game.

After the game, however, Giordano wished Fowler well.

We imagine hockey fans loved to see the bad blood between the two teams, which could continue very soon as the Ducks and Flames could meet in the first round of the playoffs.
