Basketball isn’t the first sport of choice in India, but Golden State Warriors shooting guard is trying to make it more relevant.

The NBA champ is in the country right now, teaching kids how to play the game. We’re not just talking a few kids, though. We’re talking 3,459. According to the Associated Press, Durant’s successful class marked a Guinness World record for the largest basketball lesson ever performed.

A brilliant way to try and build basketball in a country that primarily revolves around cricket. KD took some time to relax outside of the gym, and made sure to squeeze a visit to the infamous Taj Mahal.

Good on Durant for attempting to spread the sport he loves across the world. Besides, we can think of worse ways to spend an offseason.
