If we had to sum up 2017 so far, it’s the year in which teens will take things too far.

Teens are known for stirring up a ruckus, getting up to tomfoolery and, in general, being a bunch of rapscallions. Of course, we are all teens at one point or another, and this is not how all teens behave. However, these are teens like we’ve never seen before.

They have the ability to make things go viral, start new, random trends and much else on the World Wide Web.

In the latest bit of teen savagery, this Russell Westbrook fan abandoned what could be assumed as one of his favourite players the minute he ran into a bit of adversity.

Of course, we’re kidding and so was this kid probably. It seems like he was being egged on by his friends, who were probably rubbing in that his favourite player just got rejected.

It does seem especially unnecessary considering the season Westbrook is having. 35 games into the season, he is still averaging a triple double and over 30 points-per-game. That is absurd.

Still, neither the disrespect that Westbrook is showing to his opponents or the disrespect that this kid showed to Westbrook compare to this kid at the Centennial Classic yesterday.
