It's always scary when a player takes a hard fall or gets hurt in practice by way of a non-contact injury.

Before the start of last season, for example, Jack Eichel went down with an ankle injury and it was devastating for him, his teammates and hockey fans.

On Wednesday, Oilers fans were holding their breath as Oscar Klefbom accidentally sent Connor McDavid crashing into the net during practice.

Thankfully McDavid is fine and there's nothing wrong with the play in our opinion because it's just two players playing hard.

After winning their first game of the season, the Oilers have dropped their last two games, so McDavid, Klefbom and company will look to bring the intensity when they host Ottawa Saturday.
