Canada suffered a heartbreaking loss after falling just short against Sweden in the IIHF World Championship gold medal game.

Sweden had the lead heading into the third, but Canada was able to get on the board thanks to a phenomenal acting performance by forward Travis Konecny.

Shortly after hoping over the boards for his shift, the Philadelphia Flyer was hardly tapped (if there was even contact) by Carolina Hurricanes forward Elias Lindholm and proceeded to dramatically tilt his head back as if he had been seriously hurt.

Someone even decided to make a slight change to his Wikipedia pasge, too.

Canada went to the power play and Ryan O’Reilly ultimately scored. In the end it didn’t matter. But this is a head’s up for NHLers to be aware of where Konecny is on the ice in the future, because his acting might land them in the box during a regular season game.
