The Ottawa Senators hosted the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday and it ended up being a wild one. The two teams combined for 13 goals in the game, as Columbus came back to win 7-6 in overtime. However, even though the Sens came out on the losing end of things, it was a pretty special night for Kyle Turris, who played in his 500th career NHL game.

With it being a big night for the 27-year-old, Turris had some family members in attendance to watch his 500th career game. One of those members was his son, Beckett.

Nothing beats watching a professional athlete interact with their kids during the pre-game warm-ups, especially when they share adorable moments like the one we just watched. It seems like NHL players interacting with their kids during the pre-game warm-ups has become a new fad throughout the league, and we’re not complaining about it one bit.
