With news outlets focused on the San Diego area losing their football team to Los Angeles on Thursday, the fan base in St. Louis may finally be making peace with the fact they lost their team to Los Angeles a year ago. And even if they haven't made peace with the team leaving yet, it's not still all over the news anymore, so they can forget about it. Sports fans in St. Louis could sit down on the couch Thursday night, turn on the St. Louis Blues hockey game, and forget they ever had a football team. Sounds like a nice night.

Well, unfortunately for sports fans in St. Louis, they were playing the LA Kings on Thursday night. And even more unfortunately for them, the Kings Twitter handle was not in a nice mood.

The score was 2-0 Kings at the end of the 1st period, the the LA Kings Twitter handle decided to feast on their prey.

Harsh, LA Kings Twitter. Real harsh. But then this 'La La Land' argument happened in the penalty box and we forgot the savage tweet ever happened...

But it happened... and maybe you'll think it's a good idea to apologize to St. Louis in the morning.
