Lance Stephenson got the Toronto Raptors and all of their fans very angry on Tuesday night.

With time running out in the game and the Pacers holding a 15-point lead, Stephenson received a pass and went to the rim to score an easy two points, rather than just letting time expire. As you can probably guess, this did  not sit well with the Raptors.

Of course, members of the Raptors shared their thoughts on Stephenson and what he did after the game.

PJ Tucker did not appreciate Lance Stephenson's layup in the closing seconds of their game tonight.

Following the game, Stephenson also explained why he did what he did when he spoke to the media.

However, it appears that his apology was not sincere and he just told the media what they wanted to hear. On Wednesday, Stephenson reposted a video on Instagram which compared Norman Powell throwing down a massive dunk in garbage time against the Sixers and his lay-up against the Raptors.

They got mad at me for what I did but look at this. All I did was jelly. When Lance Stephenson do it's a big deal

Here's the caption on the video.

Stephenson’s apology probably wasn’t entirely made-up, but he’s probably wishing he didn’t apologize after coming across that video.

There’s a chance the two teams could meet in the playoffs, which would make for one extra entertaining series.
