At times, LaVar Ball's actions on the court and off of it have made him bigger than the game of basketball.

The perfect example of this fact occurred Friday during a game at the Adidas Uprising championships.

Late in the first half of Big Baller Brand's game against Team BBC, LaVar was given a technical foul for arguing a call and then he threatened to pull his team off the floor.

Eventually he did pull his team off the floor as the game was called with two minutes to go in the first half.  Big Baller Brand dropped to 1-2 on the tournament after the 53-43 loss.

Before the game was called because Ball wouldn't leave the floor, though, LaVar got the female official who gave him the technical foul removed from the game.

LaVar's antics robbed the crowd of what was an awesome matchup between LaMelo Ball and Immanuel Quickley, the number two point guard in 2018.

Calling the game might have been best for LaMelo on this occasion, though, as Quickley scored 23 points and had a very good shooting line.
