Life ain't always easy for Big Ballers.
Saturday, LaVar Ball's AAU team 'Big Ballers' competed in a memorial day tournament that saw the squad suffer an incredibly embarrassing loss at the hands of the Compton Magic. In front of MVP candidate James Harden and Lonzo Ball, LaVar coached his team to a humiliating 109-57 loss in a game that featured some pretty harsh looking plays. Suffice it to say, LaVar's youngest son, LaMelo, did not have a good night, scoring just 15 points and putting in a performance that was perfectly summed up by this two minute lowlight reel.
Oh dear, that was tough to watch. With his team down big at the half, LaVar attempted to raise the team's spirits with an energetic pep talk. Looks like it didn't really work.
Of course, every athlete and every team has their fair share of bad days. No one is immune to failure. Still, with the way that LaVar Ball has built up the hype around his sons with hyperbolic rants, don't expect anyone to feel all that sympathetic for his team after a loss like that.
