The 2017-18 NBA season just started, at yet people just can't seem to wait for the 2018 offseason to begin. There are two possible reasons for that. First, the last offseason was positively bonkers, and second, LeBron James could potentially be a free agent.

So what does this have to do with Lonzo Ball's birthday? To some fans, everything. Friday, LeBron took to Twitter to wish the Lakers' point guard a happy birthday, affectionately calling him a "young king."

Now, while some may view LeBron's tweet as simply a nice message from one veteran NBA superstar to a future NBA superstar, other fans found it suspicious. With LeBron currently playing out the final year of his current contract, some analysts have hypothesized a scenario in which he makes the move to the Lakers due to the fact that he owns a home in Los Angeles and runs a production company.

So when fans saw LeBron's tweet, one thing popped into their mind: LEBRON TO THE LAKERS CONFIRMED.

An athlete wishing a fellow athlete happy birthday does not mean that they're going to team up. But that won't stop Lakers fans from dreaming.
