If you've got front row seats at a hockey game, it's your duty to hit the glass with your hands -- even if you're a little kid.

Thursday, with the Capitals playing host to the Islanders in Washington, one young fan got into the spirit of things by attempting to get a player's attention by banging on the glass. That player so happened to be Tom Wilson. Sensing the young fan's excitement, Wilson played along, slamming on the glass and giving the kid a moment to remember.

Now that's how you make a lasting impression on a young hockey fan. It only took a few seconds for Wilson to acknowledge the fan, but it's likely something the little guy will remember for the rest of his life.

If you're wondering what kind of jersey both Wilson and the fan are wearing, they're sporting special warm-ups for 'Hockey Fights Cancer' month which begun in November. Just yet another reason to love this video.
